I am perfectly angry. It's okay, it's okay. I can't remember a time when I didn't feel like I was needing to heal from some deep emotional wound. Perhaps it is simply the world of an INFP, suspended between one emotional event to the next. Perhaps it becomes far easier to post something on social media than study for a final I really have zero motivation for. Perhaps it is that one lover left me and then left us all, another left me in my anger, I left another in my pain, and now I have another. Another lover. Another friend. Another chance at something beyond my imagination. And I'm angry at how what seems like peace and beauty so drastically evolves into pain and grief sometimes. I'm angry at people who judge me and others before they know me/others. I'm angry at Christians who exclude. I'm angry I was a Christian who excludes, and still probably am. I'm angry at God and at how we ignore each other until a post like this comes up. Then we ask if someone is okay. I like when people post about their depression because it means I'm not alone. I like when people post about their struggles because vulnerability is such a powerful thing. I hate generational wars and people who act as if their generation is better than another, millennials included. And because we are all so different, every person who reads this will interpret it differently. And you know what–that's okay. You are allowed to be you. You are allowed to be different. You are allowed to feel what you feel. You are allowed to be angry, too. You are allowed to be content. You are allowed to feel beautiful. You are allowed to show yourself grace. So here is a piece of my grace to myself in my anger. I can't wait to fly again.
